Very nice historic inn enjoyed have a pint there and the god was great.
You literally step back in time in this unique wonderful space. From the roaring fire to Burn's poetry randomly etched onto the walls, you can only imagine what stories and tales that have been told, shared and swapped within those thick walls. Fine range of spirits and ale, here's to drouthy neibors "but pleasures are like poppies spreadYou seize the flower, it's bloom is shedOr like the snow fall on the riverA moment white- then melts forever" Pop in for a drink and lose yourself in this historical space.
Brilliant night Anne & Debbie kept the pub open even though every other place in Ayr was shut. Have a good one lots of love. Pals xx x
Excellent wee pub , you can sit by the fire and imagine how it was back in the day. Staff and locals very friendly. Food was great I will definitely be back , wish every town could have a pub like this
