Sad to see this historic department store go after so many years. Goods were always a little pricey, but the staff were very helpful and the store had some great gift ware. Cafe staff were always welcoming and friendly, and the food was great quality and reasonably priced, too. End of an era for Ayr.
This place is good for a quick snack or something substantial and is reasonably priced unfortunately it is closing down and will cease serving meals and snacks from the 7th of February . This department store has been a feature in Ayr for many years and will be missed by the people of Ayr and surrounding towns and villages

One of the best shops in south west scotland. Lovely helpful staff, great variety, at both the lower and higher quality, with very reasonable prices. Please keep it up we need you in Ayr. Thanks to owners and staff who make it a great shop to visit.
