DOBBIES GARDEN Centes .. BEWARE of sub Standard Bedding Plants .Despite tender care 25 s worth of bedding plants withered and died . Dobbies Ayr denied responsibility And the assistant and Mananageress was most uncivil to my wife .I would advise anyone purchasing bedding plants to avoid Dobbies .There advertising does not measure up to performance This is the second time this has happened .Last year it was Begonias now it's bedding plants ,Which were repotted and kept indoors with other Flourishing plantOnly Dobies withered and Died .The Ayr staff could also do with a course in civility .What Dobbies Head Office makes of this remains to be seen Stay tuned for results .
Had luxury afternoon tea. Food was nice but we were frozen. Rushed through food to get out to car for a heat.
Had a lovely breakfast with my hubby. Lots on sale goods. We'll worth a visit.
Brilliant tea with santa at the weekend!First off the staff could not have been nicer especially the store manager Chris who was so lovely to us from start to finish also the amazing staff who hosted the tea were so attentive towards the kids who had a ball.My little one really enjoyed his meal and us adults enjoyed the slab of cake we got.All in all was fantastic and highly recommend.
We come here every couple of weeks whether for something for the garden or for a bite to eat. Food is to pricey for what it is and there is not enough vegetarian options. I find meat options nice and everything is very tasty. Two for one deal on scones is always nice and if you get the Dobbies points card you will get two hot drinks a month.Sometimes it takes a little while to order and collect hot drinks so we usually go there first and then go for the food so it wouldn't get cold. They have a good range of garden tools and plants. Again, on the whole quite expensive, but if you're looking for good quality or something different it's a place to go to. They do put some plants on sale from time to time and it's worth having a good look around.Good range of pots, garden ornaments, furniture, clothing, soaps, scents, books, gifts and other bits and pieces. There's a fresh and frozen food area, butcher, etc. You can buy pretty much everything there. Very often you will find various car dealerships having their own thing going on near the entrance as well.Anyhow, there's plenty to keep you occupied for a few hours.
