Absolutely top notch professional and friendly service with a high standard of workmanship. We had a major water leak which ruined our floor. Tiles had to be lifted, floor replaced with new waterproof membrane and new tiles fitted. Bath, sink and toilet all refitted and even a new small shelf built where tiles had to be removed. Our bathroom looks absolutely stunning. We are totally satisfied with the work done and would highly recommend this tradesman. In fact we have recommended Grant and his team to neighbours and friends and have asked him back to replace our kitchen taps!
**AVOID**AVOID**AVOID**Got a quote from this company (Premier plumbing Ayr *Grant*) to do my bathroom for 8500 which was expensive! but was assured that its only highend equipment/materials used etc. I had to purchase most of the items (such as: digital shower, tiles, mosaic, whirlpool bath, worktop, mirror, rainfall shower and the new window) as he had either forgot or I'd know what I'd prefer style wise and was told it'll be taken off the final quote. The final quote came to 7400 which was a robbery. After discussions between myself the fitter and citizen's advice i got the price down to pay someone else to fix the job that had been left! This was due to us not trusting him to touch anything else as we were left with the following issues *((cracked my worktop which also had a 2cm gap as it was fixed too high above the vanity units, chipped bath, cracked a tile (tiles are 80x80cm) this was then filled and not brung to my attention. Miter cuts are horrendous, no ceiling trim, sealant work is a mess, riser rail drilled onto tile wrong causing too large a gap meaning it wouldn't close as its a push fit, toilet runs on, bath filler not sealed and upvc pipework with chrome plastic covers that show an excessive bend as the radiator is off center and the wall tiles needed resecured as he didn't treat the wall. Bath was tiled in and standing in the bath the full bath started to sink so they tiles needed to be cracked off for this problem to be fixed. The bath support leg wasn't secured to the floor))* and the list goes on. A one week job turned into four weeks and I'm sure he had no clue what he was doing. He was also to reverse the door which he never so was left with no toilet door. (4 plumbers even refused to touch bathroom due to job that had been left). He told me his hourly rate is 45 per hour! Even a good plumber doesn't get paid 45 unless it's a call out charge. Took him almost another 5 weeks to get the final invoice to me which was laughable. I'd give lower than one star if I could. Over priced (considering cheaper materials were used) , terrible messy work, low standards and hiding issues he created instead of highlighting them at the time are just some of the issues we faced. Avoid.
I can highly recommend Grant. He has just fitted a new ensuite for us and the whole process from start to finish was flawless. The work was very professional and was done timeously with no issues. The bathroom is stunning and this is the second bathroom Grant has done for us and both equally high quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending Premier Plumbing-top quality.
